FERNANDA MATTAR MESQUITA focuses on the areas of corporate law, M&A, joint ventures, minority activism, corporate governance and contract law. 

Fernanda has over 20 years of experience and has previously worked in renowned law firms and a major financial institution.

 

Since 2014, she was a partner in a law firm specialized in corporate law, M&A, joint ventures, corporate governance, contract law and estate and succession planning. She was also a foreign associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, in their capital markets area of practice. 
 

Graduated from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, she holds specialization degrees from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in capital market taxation and law and economics. She also holds a master’s degree (LL.M) in corporate, business and transactional law from Columbia University (USA). 
 

She is also a certified mediator and published several articles on corporate law.
